Answers for Brevard Families

Common questions about ABA therapy, insurance, and getting started. Do not see yours? Ask us below.

What is ABA therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children build communication, social, and independence skills while easing behaviors that get in the way of learning. Every program is individualized and led by a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA).

Do you serve my area?

We serve families throughout Brevard County, including Cocoa, Rockledge, Merritt Island, Cocoa Beach, Titusville, Melbourne, and Viera. We have one location, at 453 King Street in Cocoa.

What ages do you work with?

We work with children and young people ages 2 to 22, with individualized programs at every stage.

Do I need a diagnosis to start ABA therapy?

In most cases, insurance requires an autism diagnosis and a prescription or referral for ABA therapy. We will walk you through exactly what your plan requires and help with the next steps.

What insurance do you accept?

We work with several major insurance plans, including Tricare, Cigna, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Optum, and other major plans. The fastest way to confirm your coverage is to reach out, and we will help verify your child's benefits.

Do you offer in-home, center-based, or school therapy?

We offer ABA therapy in our Cocoa center, in your home, and in school settings. Your BCBA recommends the setting, or combination of settings, that best fits your child's needs.

How do I get started?

Reach out by phone or our contact form. We will gather a few basic details, help verify your insurance, and schedule your child's first consultation and assessment.

How long does it take to see results?

Every child is different. Your BCBA sets individualized goals and tracks progress with regular data, and reviews that progress with your family so you always know how your child is doing.
